Sand Land Coming to North America in 2024
The Sand Land’s U.S. release date was set during the film’s world premiere at San Diego Comic-Con in 2023 (via) anime news network). No news has been released as to which company will distribute the film, but the North American release alone is sure to please fans.
The Canadian premiere is currently scheduled for the 26th Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal from July 20th to August 9th, 2023. In Japan, the film will be released in theaters on August 18, 2023.

Viz Media’s official synopsis reads:
Sandland is a shonen manga by Akira Toriyama. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from May 22, 2000 to August 28, 2000. Volume 1 contains his 14 chapters. Released in Japan on November 2, 2000. Meanwhile, Viz Media was responsible for the North American and English releases of the series. They released his English version on December 24, 2003.
A video game based on the series was also announced this year and will be released soon as well.
